  • Grandpa's Round Oak Table Restoration

The categories on YELP do not really fit what Steve Noah does!  Steve Noah is not only a wood-working artisan of the highest skill and experience, but he is a master of customer service.  He covers all of Sonoma County and beyond.  He restored my grandfather's 100 year old plus, water and use damaged, round oak table with expertise and love.  I cannot believe the transformation.  He is currently working on a small rocker that belonged to my grandmother that was damaged and then repaired incorrectly.  In fact, with both pieces, I found that Steve had to UNDO what some other schlocky "repair" person had attempted and charged us for.   Agreed- it IS a sentimental journey.  I trust Steve to make my precious heirlooms alive again for my family to enjoy anew.  Steve knows his trade and the outcome is absolutely magical. -- The Logan Family
  • Ladies' Rocking Chair Restoration

My grandmother’s “Ladies’ Tiny Rocker” is restored! Steve Noah brought it back to life and back to the way it was back in the 1930’s. The rocker was broken in many places and the seat had been badly upholstered over what had once been a lovely cane seat. The wood is now glowing, the chair is intact and the cute, cane seat has been redone. The past lives on! Thank you, Steve Noah! -- Tracy Logan

  • Child's 130-Year-Old Chair Restoration: Good for Another 130 Years!

Steve is a master filled with passion for wood that shows through in each restored piece. His care for the integrity of the piece and his work instill confidence that the piece will last through many years of use. Steve restored a child-sized chair that has been in my family for over 130 years. He removed old paint and glue that had been shoved into the spindle and leg holes. It is sturdier than ever before and the beauty of the wood has been revealed. Our little chair will continue to get used and passed on for another 130 years! -- Beth Wyatt
  • Piano Bench Restoration: Better Than Ever Before

Steve restored an old piano bench given to us by my parents. The leg had apparently been broken and then badly patched before my parents even found it. I spent some time looking for a piano bench that could replace it but was unable to find one that had the lid that opens so piano books can be stored in the bench and the benches I did find were either ridiculously expensive or had no character. Steve was able to work his magic and restored the bench back to better condition than we had ever enjoyed. In addition to his amazing expertise he also provides full service. He made it very convenient for me by picking up the piece at my work (I had it in my car) and delivering it back to me there. I didn't even have to run another errand! Thank you, Steve: you are the best! -- Beth Wyatt
